Lyon County Juvenile Probation is seeking applications for the position of On-Call Transportation Officer.
$27.24 /hr
This position is responsible for transporting youth to and from assigned destinations safely, securely, and in a timely fashion. Destinations may include court, group homes, airports, hospitals, and other facilities.
The On-Call Transportation Officer is expected to adhere to Lyon County and Lyon County Juvenile Probation policies and procedures when transporting youth. Additional job duties will include compiling data and reports upon request in accordance to .policies and procedures.
The On-Call Transportation Officer will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and operating condition of the county issued vehicle used to transport youth.
Work hours in a fiscal year cannot exceed 1,039 hours.
Education and Experience:
Equivalent to a High School diploma or GED; AND two (2) years of law enforcement/security experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
