I’m not ashamed of what I’ve accomplished. While I am far from rich, I live a fun life. I get to live with my soul mate, as we watch our 5 beautiful children grow up. I’ve been very involved with my community for years, and most of the folks around here know who I am. It feels like the majority approves of my progress.
As far as work goes…
I’m the founder of Desert Pigs
In 2018, I started a nonprofit called Desert Pigs. Since then, I’ve been dragging a crew of volunteers all over Nevada, cleaning up illegal dumpsites from the trails. I also attached a side gig to the effort: hosting blood drives.
I [had] guts to spare!
In 2019, I read an urgent message written in a local Facebook group [Dayton Peeps]. A man named David was on dialysis for 5 years, and was in need of a kidney. Nobody was offering up any guts to save him, so I jumped in. This led to my participation in a 4-way kidney swap, where my bean ended up in a Fresno lady.
I worked for a pimp.
I woke up to early morning random calls from Dennis Hof for about 4 years.
