Seasonal Library Assistant (for Smith Valley students)

Salary: $12.00 per hour

Lyon County is currently accepting applications from current Smith Valley High School students or Smith Valley resident home-schooled high school students for a Seasonal Library Assistant position at the Smith Valley Branch Library. This position will begin in June 2026 and end in May 2027. It may include evening and weekend work. The schedule is 5 hours per week, with work conducted during regular public library hours. The schedule is flexible to accommodate after-school sports, activities, and special library events. This role supports daily library operations and provides assistance to patrons in a friendly, welcoming environment while working closely with library staff.
