There are a few things I’m proud of. Obviously, at the very top of my list, is family. They’re pretty awesome. I am lucky enough to have married my best friend, and we have five beautiful, healthy kids together. What more could any man ask for?
Kidney Donation
Next on my list, would be my participation in a four-way kidney swap, which saved the lives of two people – a man who lived a couple streets away from me, and a nice lady in Fresno. I received much support and love from my hometown, as they shared in my adventure through posts and videos on Facebook and YouTube.
Founding Desert Pigs
Who would have known a single trip to pick up a dumped couch, would lead to a movement? Local heroes from Dayton, Carson City, Mound House, Stagecoach, Silver Springs, Fernley, and Reno have joined in the effort to rid our desert lands of illegal dump sites.
Our group grows daily, with over 1,200 members of our Facebook group, over 100 volunteers, and over 400 people donating to our registered 501c3 nonprofit.
Soon Desert Pigs will be in every town in Nevada.

Last, and certainly not least, when it comes to my livelihood: work awards.
I’ve won several statewide awards for newspaper design, both advertising and news layout.
After leaving the newspaper industry, I scored a few longevity and employee of the month/year awards at during my years at Calculated Industries.
