Lyon County is accepting applications for a full-time, non-exempt Pretrial Services Officer based primarily in Yerington, with approximately weekly travel to other in-county locations as operationally required; a County vehicle is provided. This position supports the court by promoting the lawful, fair, safe, and socially beneficial supervision of criminal defendants pending adjudication. The officer gathers, verifies, and maintains defendant information, prepares reports and recommendations, and assists the court in making pretrial release determinations, as well as monitoring compliance for defendants granted release.
