Comments must be received the day prior to the date of the meeting by 4:00 P.M. for the comments to be included in the meeting. Any written public comments received after the aforementioned time will be compiled and added as supplemental materials to the County’s website and distributed to the Board of Commissioners within 24 hours after the meeting.
Board of Commissioners Convening as Other Boards – Members of the Board of County Commissioners also serve as the Liquor Board, Central Lyon Vector Control District Board, Mason Valley Mosquito Abatement District Board, Walker River Weed Control District Board, Willowcreek General Improvement District Board, the Silver Springs General Improvement District Board, and during this meeting may convene as any of those boards as indicated on this or a separately posted agenda.

In the amount of $32,000 for Equipment and $4,000 for Operations for the period of July 1, 2026 through May 30, 2027, and to authorize the Emergency Manager to sign the grant award.

Accept and award the 2026 Regional Transportation Commission Lyon County Road Rehabilitation Project to SNC (Sierra Nevada Construction)
For the amount of $3,174,007, and approve a 10% contingency for any unforeseen issues on the project and to allow staff to sign project related documents.

Approve an Interlocal Agreement between Douglas County and Lyon County for Douglas County to provide Lyon County with temporary juvenile detention services provided that space is available in the amount of $300 per day until June 30, 2027
This agreement can be renewed for successive one-year periods prior to expiration of the initial term of the agreement and any subsequent one-year extension.
