Darin Farr
For School Board Trustee District 2
My platform:
I am running for school board to continue putting students, teachers, and families first. I believe our schools work best when we focus on academic success, safe learning environments, fiscal responsibility, and open communication with the community.
As a parent, educator, veteran, and experienced board member, I understand the importance of listening to all stakeholders and making decisions based on what is best for studentsโnot politics. I believe strong schools are built through collaboration, and I choose to work alongside teachers, staff, administrators, and families to solve problems and improve outcomes, rather than simply criticize from the sidelines.
I will continue supporting teachers and improving opportunities for all students, not just those who are college bound. Every student deserves pathways to success, whether that includes college, military service, technical training, or entering the workforce directly after graduation.
I strongly support expanding Career and Technical Education (CTE) opportunities so students can graduate with real-world skills, certifications, and hands-on experience that prepare them for successful careers and strengthen our local workforce.
My goal is to help create schools where every student has the opportunity to succeed, every teacher feels supported, and every family feels heard.
