For Lyon County District Attorney
My platform:
A fourth-generation Nevadan, I have spent the entirety of my legal career working in Lyon County, building extensive experience within the local justice system and developing strong relationships across the community.
Local Ties
As the only candidate who resides in Lyon County, I understand firsthand the unique needs and values of the people who live here. Lyon County deserves a District Attorney with recent local courtroom presence and strong local ties to the community. I am running for District Attorney because I believe our community is strongest when justice is handled by someone who knows our county, knows our courts, and is not running for political ambitions, but for the betterment of our community.
Law Enforcement Endorsement
I am honored to be endorsed by law enforcement locally and throughout the State, including the Lyon County Sheriffโs Employee Association (LCSEA), the Nevada Association of Public Safety Officers (NAPSO), and the Public Safety Alliance of Nevada (PSAN). Their support reflects confidence in my experience, my integrity, and my commitment to standing with law enforcement while serving the people of Lyon County.
Experience
For more than a decade, I have been in Lyon County courtrooms almost dailyโlitigating cases and working directly within the local justice system. I bring recent and practical litigation experience across civil and criminal matters, along with estate planning and complex agricultural and water issues.
In addition to my private practice in Lyon County, I serve as a Commissioner on the Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners. Through that role, I have worked extensively on conservation and public lands issues affecting Nevada. I have worked alongside nonprofit organizations, ranchers, farmers, members of Capitol Hill, government officials, and other stakeholders to develop practical solutions to public lands and conservation challenges facing our state.
Strengthening the Justice System
My legal background across multiple areas of law has given me a comprehensive understanding of how cases are built, but more importantly how they fall apart before even getting to a preliminary hearing. I believe that experience provides valuable insight into strengthening prosecutions, ensuring accountability, and preventing cases from falling through the cracks.
As District Attorney, I will identify weaknesses, build stronger cases, and make sure justice is served while maintaining fairness and integrity. I will prioritize strong partnerships with local law enforcement, protecting victims through collaboration with local advocacy groups, and ensuring that the justice system works effectively for the people of Lyon County.
I live in Lyon County with my family and remain actively involved in the local community.
